Neurotherapy Technician

Part-time, 0.4 FTE | Hawthorn, Melbourne

The Togetherness Project is looking for a thoughtful, reliable and detail-oriented Neurotherapy Technician to join our Hawthorn clinic.

This is a part-time role, approximately 0.4 FTE, suited to someone with a genuine interest in neuroscience, nervous system regulation, Functional Neurology, integrative approaches to health and mental health, and brain-based therapies.

The role involves supporting clients through neurotherapy sessions, administering neuromodulation protocols under clinical direction, gathering EEG data, and assisting with the processing of EEG data into quantitative brain maps.

Prior neurotherapy experience is not essential. Full training will be provided in NeuroField neurotherapy technician tasks, Functional Neurology, and advanced quantitative EEG training offered over time.

We are especially interested in someone with relational maturity, a calm presence, strong attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn. Technical skills can be taught; the right temperament is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather EEG data for QEEG brain mapping

• Assist with processing EEG data into quantitative maps

• Support clients before, during and after sessions

• Follow clinical protocols with accuracy and care

• Administer neuromodulation sessions under clinical direction with accuracy and care

• Maintain clear notes and documentation

• Assist with clinic flow and client experience

• Participate in ongoing training and supervision

Training Provided

Full training will be provided in:

• NeuroField neurotherapy technician tasks

• EEG data collection

• Quantitative EEG processing

• Client preparation and support

• Clinic safety and procedural standards

• Neuromodulation protocols

Advanced quantitative EEG training will also be provided over time for the right person.

Pay: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Approximately two days per week, with some flexibility required
